Enhancing our practices and Management System

We believe that safety makes for a better and more efficient business. All our people are involved and actively participating in continuous improvement of our systems and our daily activities. Through this we protect people, preserve assets, and prevent any damage to the environment. Our integrated Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Management System is ISO 9001 and EMAS certified. It is periodically verified through internal audits and audits by qualified bodies.

Following Industry Best Practices and sharing Lessons Learned

BAUER Offshore Technologies follows the industry’s lifesaving rules that consolidate our own safety standards. Our cross-functional teams use best practices to develop personal safety awareness and reduce even further the level of risks associated with our activities. Our personnel identify, share, and apply lessons learned to prevent accidents, unsafe acts, and situations. They promote team reflection on non-conformities so that they do not re-occur.

Building a fair safety culture

Developing the safety skills of our personnel is a priority to us, and we involve our clients and subcontractors to create a safe work environment for everyone. We cooperate to establish clear accountabilities and to promote active partnership through a consistent quality and safety integrated process. In doing so, we protect the communities living in and around the locations we conduct our activities at.

Quality and safety are core elements of our activities, in line with the requirements of our stakeholders, from the design of integrated projects to the offshore operations. BAUER Offshore Technologies’ QHSE Management System, combined with a proactive approach based on risk analysis, enables us to carry out controlled operations in all circumstances while meeting the highest quality and safety standards.

Innovative solutions to reduce our environmental impact

We promote the electrification of our drilling equipment to further lower the noise emitted by our activities. Standardising our technologies and using of bio-degradable fluids in our appliances reduce the generation of waste and associated costs. Our equipment is remotely controlled to minimise the level of risk faced by our operators.

Integrating quality and safety in all our processes

We are conducting our business with quality and safety being integrated in all our activities, in all phases of our projects. We believe a quality and safety integrated business is a successful business.
