Barry Eagles

Barry Eagles joined the BAUER Group in 2021. His responsibilities are the strategic leadership, commercials, and operations for Bauer Offshore Technologies. He studied Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (B.Eng.) and Offshore Engineering (M.Sc.) at Robert Gordon’s University in Aberdeen, Scotland. His career spans over 30 years predominantly in the international offshore oil & gas drilling contractor sector and he held multiple assignments in West Africa, and Middle and Far East in senior management roles.

Stefan Hackl

Stefan Hackl is part of the BAUER Group since 1994, and since 2022 responsible for strategic leadership, engineering, and equipment development for Bauer Offshore Technologies. He studied Mechanical Engineering (M.Sc.) at Augsburg University of Applied Science, Germany. As group leader he has been responsible for drilling rig development, worked several years as Center Manager and Engineering Director in the geothermal and Oil & Gas deep drilling sector in Germany and the USA.
